NIKO'S IKONS
NIKO'S IKONS contains mostly never-seen-before colour and black & white photos of Dutch and international pop music artists, carefully selected from the photographer's archive, with texts in both Dutch and English, and is scheduled to be published in the Fall of 2024.
About the author
Photographer Niko Venneker has devoted his professional life to artistic and commercial photography. From 1969 to 1974, he captured Dutch and internationals pop and rock artists on film for magazine articles and record sleeves.
Among them are well-known, famous and sometimes legendary pop music IKONS such as Barry Gibb, Bintangs, Country Joe, Earth & Fire, Ekseption, Fleetwood Mac, George Baker Selection, Golden Earring, Jimmy Cliff, Jody Grind, John Mayall, Jose Feliciano, Shocking Blue, Supersister, Swinging Soul Machine, The Byrds, The Motions, Unit Gloria and Zen.
